Kurt Heidolph has over 15 years of tech-company operational and management experience. He has a diverse background ranging from production and performance to finance and technology, which allows him to bring a unique and innovative perspective to his work. In 2016, he launched an online music technology platform, providing independent music artists with direct access to global distribution and corresponding marketing and artist promotion services. Prior to that, he held a senior management position at Universal Music Group Distribution (“UMGD”), the award-winning sales and marketing division of Universal Music Group. While there, he managed business analysis and reporting for UMGD’s independent label division, automating nearly every reporting process, and increasing UMDG’s financial reporting efficiency by 150 percent: improving the company’s overall accuracy and forecasting detail.
Since 2005, Mr. Heidolph has also served as the Chief Engineer for Grammy-nominated pianist Judy Carmichael’s NPR radio show “Jazz Inspired.” He assisted with archiving, recording, and business development for the New York Philharmonic from 2005-2006. His professional passions include systems and information technology management. He holds two Bachelor of Science degrees from Indiana University in Audio Engineering and Music Performance and a Certificate in Computer Informatics.
